Miniature Railway

The Manx Steam and Model Engineering Club run the hugely popular Orchid Line – a miniature steam railway following a half-mile circuit around the Park.

Trains run every Sunday from Easter to October and on Bank Holidays. During the school summer holidays they often run on a Thursday as well.

Trains and the traction engine run on some special events outside scheduled running times.

All proceeds of ticket purchases go to the club's running costs, and all staff on the trains are volunteers of the club… it's their hobby and passion!

All trains have a fully accessible wheelchair carriage.
