TT and Race Information
WE ARE OPEN EVERY DAY DURING RACING, EVEN ON RACE AND PRACTICE DAYS!
You can access the Wildlife Park and car Park even when roads are closed via the old railway line from the Ballacrye Road.
During Practice nights and race days we open at 10am and close at 5pm (last admission 4pm)
To get to us when roads are closed from Ramsey take the A13 Jurby road, follow this all the way along until you hit the A10 at the Cronk, you travel just a few meters on the A10 and take a sharp left onto the Ballacrye road, follow this road as it heads towards the TT route, just a few meters from where the road is closed on the left hand side you will see a loose stone chipped track (a small temporary sign saying ‘Wildlife Park’ will be pinned to a post). This old railway line is passable for cars and motor bikes, but not large vehicles. Please take care, driving slowly as it is a loose chipping track and it is a tight squeeze if you meet another car! At the end of the track you turn right and you will find yourself in the Wildlife Park car park.
IMPORTANT INFO FOR VISITORS TRAVELING BY BUS DURING RACE FORTNIGHTS
Bus numbers 5, 6, 6A and 6C.
Normally buses pull into the car park at the Wildlife Park - however once the course is set up about a week before race fortnight and taken down a few days after during this time they will not stop at the bus stop. If you are travelling from Peel direction they will drop you off just at the entrance to the Car Park, if you are leaving the Wildlife Park heading towards Ramsey they will pick you up from the road side just a few meters from the bus stop. However unfortunately they will not stop if you are travelling on the other side of the road (heading to the Park from Ramsey or leaving the Park heading to Peel). This means you have about a 10 minute walk to Sulby to get the bus outside the Sulby post office or from there to walk to the Park. Alternatively you can get the bus to Sulby and cross the road to catch the bus to Peel when leaving the Park, or get off at Ballaugh and get the bus to the Wildlife Park (heading to Ramsey) if you are coming to the Park heading from Ramsey.
If in doubt ask the bus driver when you get on the bus, or our reception when you leave the Park. We have no control over when the course is set up and taken down (and are given no notice), nor making buses stop. The reason the buses will not pull into the car park is because of restricted sight line when pulling out onto the road and for public safety reasons it is unsafe for a bus to pull out onto the course at this time. We apologize this is out with our control.
