Friends of the Curraghs Wildlife Park
We are a Manx registered charity, founded in 1989, to help support the work of the Curraghs Wildlife Park. Over the years, it has contributed to the building or refurbishment of many enclosures as you can see from plaques around the Park. It seeks sponsorships and grants from other organisations and uses the money raised to in a variety of ways. Recent projects have included support for the new Silvery Gibbon enclosure, the purchase of replica animal skulls which are widely used in both educational programmes and in the Discovery Hut and a magnificent life size statue of a Giant Elk, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Park in 2016.
